Nothing like telling voters what issues they should care about, or in this case, not care about. People love that!
Long format interview worth a listen. I don’t find these guys particularly biased, but I am sure some exist.
What do you want to bet those fake watches are made in CHina?
More than likely. At least some components of the watch for sure. Those new tariffs are going to hurt!
For sure. That’d be a $200,000 watch if Trump gets elected
I see the stooges still suffering bigly from TDS.
- Facebook is once again presenting problems ahead of a presidential election, but this time it’s local officials sounding the alarm.
- Interviews with nearly a dozen regional and statewide officials with election-related duties underscore the challenges Facebook poses.
- Layoffs in trust and safety and customer service along with Facebook deprioritizing news have made it difficult to dispel misinformation, officials said.
Derek Bowens has an important job as the director of elections in Durham County, North Carolina, a key state for the 2024 presidential election. When a former precinct official warned him about a viral Facebook post spreading voting misinformation, Bowens knew he had a crisis on his hands. The post falsely claimed voters should request new ballots if anything was written on their form, even though this was debunked in 2020. Despite the state issuing a press release, the misinformation continued to spread on Facebook without any warning labels. State and local officials are frustrated by Facebook’s limited action against such false claims, which could disrupt another close election. The platform has reduced political content, but misinformation can still spread rapidly, leaving government agencies with little ability to counter it effectively.
Anyone who owns stock in this turd should take notice.
I can’t help but wonder how many MAGA cult members are going to be left holding the bag on this turd when it goes to zero.
Two choices… endless wars or cheap groceries.
