Spectora Advanced Worth It In Florida?

Hey all!

Curious if any Florida inspectors use Spectora Advanced. Since my business is insurance inspection heavy, we do 7 or 8 published inspections per day and only charging on average $125 per appointment.

Spectora Advanced charges $3 per published inspection, on top of almost $1000 per inspector per year for their software.

If i’m averaging 35 published inspection per week, they want me to pay an additonal $5500 per year. 2 years ago we were doing double that in inspections which would be $10000 per year on top of the yearly fee for the software.

Anyways… I know your inspection software is a personal choice and you decide what is worth it for your company, however, I’m curious if anyone is in the same boat as me and loves using Spectora, but really wants to go to the advanced version of it, but doesn’t want to pay $5000-$10000 a year just to be able to send texts and get better reports…

I’m thinking about it, but I’m not in the same situation as you. I typically do 4-10 inspections per week, but most of them are Full inspections that include a wind mit and 4 point so there’s a lot of meat still on the bones for $3. I do 0-3 stand alone wind mit/4 points in a week.

If you really want advanced, I’d just raise your price by $5 and call it a day.

Fair point, appreciate your POV of it.

IMO, you have no need for the advanced in your business model. It is mainly to get add-on services, or to have different emails for different situations.
