A lot of layers to roof inspection and this training.
Same here!
This course was very detailed. I didn’t like that lack of lecture vs the previous course.
I just started the course and at this time I am looking for all the learning material there seem to be lots to read through before I can get to the meat of the course.
I found this course pretty interesting, as I began my construction career 25 years ago, doing a LOT of residential roofing!
Great way to start my Home inspection journey, learning a lot about Roof inspections
Roof covering vs roof system. Good information to remember!
Starting the course
I’m starting the course as well.
Looking forward to starting this course and putting new knowledge to the test.
Starting the course today!
I have been reading the scope restrictions as per the NACHI guidelines and note that there are many such as walking on the roof or getting in a crawlspace or inspecting downspouts that are underground. Are there state statutes that provide cover when an inspector declares an installed item as defective in terms of its craftsmanship.
starting the course now
Hi Adam. I’m with you. I’m starting right now and I’m very excited. Good luck!
Hey Adam & Ju-Anne, I just passed this exam this morning. If I can assist in any way, let me know.
This course was great for learning, I got to learn some terminology that I didn’t know before. I also had some practice as I have some minor roof work that need to be done and I used those terminologies with the roof contractor.
Diving in the deep end
Looking over this course and material has helped me to have a better understanding of inspecting a roof and all of the components that are required.
Im enjoying the thoroughness of the course materials. Helps to put a name to the things ive built:joy:
This course was one of my favorites. Its insane what a badly pitched downspout can do to a homes foundation.
