Hi, @twalton4. Probably the easiest way is to email yourself and attach an image (from your phone). Then open up your computer, open that email, and download the image attachment.

Hi my name is Timothy Steward. I just started the class last night I had a quick question is there anyway that I can order purchase a hardcopy of the 111 page they wanted us to download?

Hi, @tsteward. We do not have any course PDFs available as printed books. It’s a free PDF. It’s not required to download or read in order to complete the class. There’s nothing in the PDF that isn’t in the course.

I recommend purchasing the marketing piece to provide to clients from Inspector Outlet which makes the standards easy-to-understand for clients and agents: InterNACHI Buying or Selling Brochure (Pack of 50) – Inspector Outlet

Thank you, will do

Hi, @rcapers. I recommend checking out the webinar where I review a home inspection that I performed according to the standards of practice. This video will show the standards can be applied to an actual inspection. Visit Home Inspection Training Webinar #45 With InterNACHI's Ben Gromicko - Free Home Inspector Webinar

Hello, i’m new to the course. For the first essay do you suggest using the InterNACHI template for the home inspection?

That’s a good idea, but not necessary, @tjohnson95. I recommend just following the assignment instructions and giving it your best try. Here are some sample narratives (to help writing your essay). Use them as examples. Visit InterNACHI Home Inspection Narrative Samples

just saying hi excited to be here

I’m really looking forward to completing my final exam and be an InterNACHI certified home inspector. When it comes time, the company I’m looking to work for requires I take the additional certification required to be licensed with their company. Any advice on prep work for does InterNACHI offer courses to prep for that certification?

Hi, today is my first day getting into the course, and i just have one question so far. A couple of days ago, I just completed the 120 hour professional real estate certification program through the Inspection Certification Associates. The only concern I have about it is that the course was guided under the current 2014 ASHI standard of practice. I read recently that ASHI was found guilty in court with not being reliable in giving out home inspector certifications to certified people. One of the main reasons I’m taking this course is because many of the home inspector jobs in my area are asking for InterNACHI certifications for this very reason. Going forward, should I be concerned with anything going forward into this course with the knowledge I have now? Thank you for your time.

Hey, @jsims20. I think it sounds like it’s best to use your existing knowledge about standards, and apply the new stuff you’re learning now, particularly from this standards course. The standards for performing home inspections are similar, but there are some differences. So, in order to reduce mistakes on the job and to keep your inspection process on track, I simply incorporate the InterNACHI Home Inspection Standards of Practice (Home Inspection Standards of Practice - InterNACHI®) into my inspection software, my checklist, my process and procedures. I use a mobile device, so that my inspection is done with that “mobile guidance.”
