What is your thoughts here. This is where the wahser and dryer hook ups are in the is house. I’m trying to figure out how they discharge the washers water either down the pipe that the condensate line runs into (at top) which is around 6 ft in the air that would be one heck of a hose wouldnt it. Or do they reley on the antique sump pump? I am going to suggest to check the historical data with the seller and recommend a plumber. Any other thoughts?

The washer will drain fine into the the higher white PVC, which I don’t consider to be too high.
The issue I see is when that sump pump kicks on and starts to send water to be discharged, it's going to overflow out of the washer waste pipe (in question).
I would recommend that tee fitting (for the sump pump) be replaced with a wye fitting.

I think a one way valve would work in the washer drain and not provide a return path for the sump discharge. . . . the valves with the flap so water can pass in one direction but not the other . . .

What happens while the washer is draining and the sump kicks on? An awfull lot of water for the (looks like 2") pipe !
If this house is on a septic then the sump shouldn't be discharging into the waste system anyways.
If this house is on city waste system, it should be checked that it is allowed in that area fo a sump to dicharge into the main city waste system. It probably isn't.
I would recommend that the sump be routed to discharge outside.

Good point. It doesn’t look like a good configuration any way you approach it. I have heard of grey water being used for irrigation but never seen it and your are correct, many public sewage outfits don’t want you pumping your sump into them.
