Tequipment offers InterNACHI members an awesome deal!

http://www.tequipment.net/specials/NACHI-BCAM/NACHI-BCAM.html

Save over $1,800.00!

That is an awesome deal Nick!!
The savings would pay for NACHI membership for the next 6 years, or can be applied to Level 1 Training!

This looks like a great deal. Are there any catches, like you have to take their training, or buy some expensive software. I currently have my Building Sciences IR Certification and also my LEVEL I IR Certification through FLIR but up until now have not been able to afford an IR camera. Has anyone else dealt with this company? If it’s legit, I think I will jump all over this.

I’ll let you know when mine shows up.

Mark

The company you ask about is good. You can trust them.

For a few hundred dollars more you can buy a camera with >30% superior image resolution and >150% greater temperature range. Our model 4010 sells undiscounted for $3,900. We can offer NACHI members an additional 5% discount.
We also offer camera rentals for this camera, $495/week and we apply 50% of the rental towards a purchase. For details please see our website, http://pembrokeinstruments.com/prod-thermal-imaging.php

We plan to hold a hands-on workshop in late May, 2009. You will be able to see for yourself the performance of this camera and also a 640X480 thermal imaging camera.
We will show you how image resolution maps to specific inspection applications. The workshop will be announced shortly; the location is San Bruno, California.

Thanks Mark, I really would appreciate any feedback you can give me on your purchase.

Don

I just received and email saying it has left the building and is on the big brown truck.

Mark

Congrats Mark.!

Thanks for all your help John. I really appreciate it.

Mark

Don,
There are NO catches! The price is the price without any caveats!

Rick is offering a deal that will only last as long as the supplies last. Thanks Rick.

It made it in a day early. It’s just as advertised new in the box. I charged it up and went playing around my house for a little while. I like it.
I know the B60 is better as I have played with one. But this one fit my budget (I do not like to finance anything) If things go well I will upgrade later on down the road.

Mark

Mark, most guys end up upgrading down the road. I think you went the smart direction. Develop IR in your HI business, and work on your IR skills. Then pursue the other aspects of IR once you get good with it. I am bidding a job down in Tucson that is going to require a short wave imager. The actual inspection will run $2500 plus rental of the short wave. I just gave out a very similiar job to one of the guys here for a TPO roof, once again it will require short wave. Working in to the commercial, industrial and flat roof jobs is where the money is in IR, but that takes time and experience.

That is an insane deal they have going on that unit. I am guessing FLIR is phasing out that unit and is trying to get rid of them.

Actually Flir is re-introducing the B-cam SD. Makes me sick to think what I paid for mine two years ago!!!

Has the BCAM SD been discontinued or has it be re-introduced?

I attended John Snell’s webinar yesterday for IR and weatherization the the Flir rep. said it was being re-introduced as an entry level camera.

Minimum specs. for IR are now 100 mk, with 70 mk as better and 50 mk as best. I think he said there will be a 15 mk in the near future.

That is part of the Resnet standard that is coming through the pipes. 100mk and 120x120 resolution. John Snell is the infrared consultant Resnet is using, so he is a great resouce on the weatherization stuff.
