That’s pretty much how I’m describing it to my customer and I would like some more info. I did a mobile inspection and on the side of the house is an electric panel with the red warning light on top that is tied into a large tank in the front lawn area. What is it and what does it do?!?!?

Scott,
That light is a warning light for their septic system. The light will go on I believe when the system becomes full or inoperable for some reason. The proper name of it slips my mind right now but it was discussed at one of our FABI meetings recently. I have yet to see one, but from discussions with other HI`S, they just tell the client whats its for and call the septic people for any further info.

Sometimes if they live down hill from the line they will have their own pumping station to get it it up over the hump so to speak. The red light comes on when the system is not pumping.
