Thermal camera for Home Inspection

Hi everyone.
I am new in this business and looking for good thermal cam for it. Could you give me some advice?

Get some education about thermal imaging first, then you will have an idea what imager you may like to invest in.

Education, like LEVEL I thermography and THERMOGRAPHY FOR BUILDING SCIENCES are good starting points.

There’s a free course from nachi that’s an introduction to thermal imagery titled “Building Science & Infrared Thermal Imaging for Inspectors Course.”

I know that I personally can’t afford thousands of dollars in thermal imaging classes, but between free online literature and YouTube, there’s a wealth of information out there to get you started in thermal imaging for home inspectors. Good luck.

Oleksandr, start with purchasing tools that you used readily.
1: Flashlights/Lantern. 2: Moisture meter. pin less and pin. 3: infrared thermometer. 4: Electrical outlet testers & Wiggly. 5: A mirror. 6: Report software.
