Tiny Black Balls In Crawlspace

Today I found millions of tiny black balls in a crawlspace. They coated the floor- in some places up to an inch deep. They were stuck to some vertical surfaces. They were loose from each other and could be crushed into a paste. They had a smell like dirt. My guess is some type of feces. Does anyone have any insight as to their origin?

Um, I don’t really know what it is. But, don’t use your thread title in your report. There must be better wording?

They look like tick eggs.

Tiny bubbles in the wine
Caviar

I don’t believe it originated from an animal.
Perhaps the space was flooded & the remains were splattered around…?..

Looks like Caviar :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Could it be some type of fertilizer or fertilizer infused potting soil?

What did it taste like?

Agreed Jeff but I don’t think the multitude of masses like that…
unless a huge part of a nearby woods/forest was big time flooded & washed up.

There does appear to be a high water mark in the second photo.

So Elijah is there a very nearby by woods/forest.

Were they sweet or bitter.

There was recently major flooding in the area. What type of remains tho? Its strange how uniform their size and shape is.

No nearby woods. They tasted like they came straight from Willy Wonka himself.

There was a 20 year flood last week.

I thought the same thing! What a waste XD
