This truely has to be the worst abortion I have ran across in years. I had to follow the return duct back to the furnace in order to locate it. This had to be a home owner special I never did actually do a visual on the furnace just located its general location as it was built into a wall behind some heavy furniture in the master bedroom. Downflow furnace with supply ducts in both the attic and the crawl space. The return air was being taken from the kitchen only and the flue pipe did not exit the roof was located just below the rain cap about roof decking level
