Any comments about this hook up?

The trap is from a bathtub.

There's no need to have a waste line that big for one lousy tub. At least they installed a trap.

The main waste line is three inches and the elbow comes from the toilet. I would have thought the 1 1/4" waste line should a have been down stream of the toilet. When the toilet is flushed there could be a likely hood of the trap being shiponed?

Thanks.

be nothing wrong with that setup. Normaly you would have a vent pipe attached near the toilet down pipe. I can not remember but I think that all drains in the bathroom need to be within 4’ of a vent stack. [/url]
