Went I put my HI hat on I do, and the dish also.
I have yet to see either on a mast properly grounded. Most leads have been installed correctly (bonded).

I don’t look at TV antennas, dishes, Cable TV or telephone equipment or lines. All of that is specifically excluded from my agreement, and I believe the NACHI sop.

I believe that the instructions supplied with that type of equipment specifically requires compliance with the NEC Articles 810, 820, and 830.
A lighting strike could be serious, and they have been cited as the cause of a fire or equipment damage.
Maybe the SOP should be revised to include something that relates to this issue.
As an AHJ I would be able to enforce 110.2 and 110.3(A) and (B) and be on solid ground!
PS: I am on the Amtrak right now travelling into NYC using my wireless card, and it works great, a far cry from the old Royal Typewriter!
