Un licensed home inspectors

Just like in Texas. The RE commission down there regulates RE’s and HI’s.

No conflict of interest there, right? Oh. It’s not the right way, or the wrong way: it is just the Texas way.

Soon, Kansas and Missouri will be dealing with the KCRAR and agent associations in both states, as they both try to push new similar HI laws for both states at the same time.

Without state-wide IRC building codes, HI’s cannot state, legally, that a defect found is truly a defect. That should be pushed into play as well. Licensing of all trades people will be needed, when they make the home repairs on homes being sold to any home buyer that are found by licensed HI’s. With budgets the way they are in every state, new laws are tough to be enforced.

Last time I looked, free enterprise worked just fine. Now, it is all government, and all messed up.

Wow! I’m speakless.

Illinois is really messed up. I guess you should stop being a home inspector and start being a general contractor or HVAC guy.
