I would say so John. Whatever the Source, that is the service.
I am not quite sure what the answer would be with wells for I do not inspect many of them!
Anyone have an answer? Enquiring minds want to know!

The line from a single party private well is typically 1.25" in my area. That usually feeds into a bladder-type storage tank, which has a 3/4" line to the home. If the storage tank is a long distance from the home, the water line from the tank to the home will be over-sized to reduce friction losses in the pipe.
