Does anybody know what well and septic certifications or licenses are needed to inspect wells and septics in tennessee?
Unless you are drilling or working on wells, you really need nothing to inspect wells.
This is the state website on water well regulations.

That makes sense, in Wisconsin we have to be licensed by the WI DNR in order to inspect wells for a fee.
What about just doing a flow test or water samples? I inspect well equipment, do flow tests and take water samples all the time in Missouri, no certification or license needed. Septic is a complete different story.
- A pick ax.
- A shovel.
- A pump truck.
- And a flashlight.
To Start.
