What is your favorite Wing Sauce?

Just for fun, I love cooking chicken wings and was just wondering how other wing connoisseurs like their wings and their favorite sauce or marinade. Store bought and/or homemade recipes are welcome. For reference;

I like Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo off the shelf. When I was bartending at a restaurant years ago, one of the owners would come in every other week or so and “cook” our wing sauce. 2 gallon of Frank’s Red Hot sauce, 2 pounds of butter and a pitcher of Yuengling beer (he preferred PBR but was not on tap at that store…) Mixed it all and cooked it down for well over an hour or two. Best Buffalo style sauce I’ve ever had, thus why I like Frank’s off the shelf now.

Anyways…just a fun share thread if anyone would like to contribute their likes or recipes. Beats the hell out political BS and bashing threads… :wink:

Does Dominos count?

I don’t know what my favorite wing sauce is and don’t care as long as it’s hot. :grinning:

I like all different kinds, every time we go to Mission Barbeque, we order extra main dishes and sides for our lunches. they always give me a big bag with all their different sauces. Just had Florida Gator Bite on my pork chop today. A couple days ago it was Memphis Belle(?).

I was in the restaurant biz in my past life. That was also our wing sauce recipe. But we used Frank’s original red hot sauce. Add more butter for mild. Add honey for sweet n hot.

Oh, I like deep fried wings tossed in wet sauce served with blue cheese dressing and celery. No carrots, no ranch!

Smoked with a dry rub and then tossed in Frank’s Xtra hot sauce and melted butter.

You know it’s some serious hot shit when you see a warning label like that, and trust me, they mean it.

I did the Dave’s Insanity Salsa thing when I was younger. For some reason, things burn a little different as you get older.

I was thinking of the big independent grocery store just north of Cincy… the name of it is escaping me right now.

Jungle Jims, and that’s exactly the place I bought it a number of years ago for a christmas party we had at a place where I used to work. We had a guy who thought he was tough and could handle any kind of hot sauce, he poured about 10 drops onto a hot dog, about 5 minutes later he had to sit down and was in obvious distress, we were ready to dial 911 but he refused to let us call. He ended up okay but looked like he was on the verge of a heart attack. This is some serious hot stuff.
