I have never seen a bathtub before that actually creates a whirlpool, haha! Only had two jets.
Perhaps that’s how they got the name? 
(Not sure what brand this was)

I took a stab at the Apple thing (as it usually is the source of problems).
It’s likely more Discourse (Forum) BS, as they are threatening to ‘cut me and thousands of others off’ in the next few weeks!!

Not trying to create thread drift but the background on this would be interesting to hear. As has been experienced this forum software has been well less than desirable from the previous forum software. Is “Discourse control” deeply ingrained in the software and out of the control of the organizations who are providing the BB’s? Have the organizations providing the BB’s, including this one, acquiesced to this complete control by Discourse?

Pretty much the same story regardless of what the OP stated in the post. It is really no more than helping support the effort to force consumers to buy new and expensive updated devices they don’t want. Very typical in all electronic items as well as so many others i.e. vehicles, appliances, HVAC systems, all which become expensive or impossible to service when needed.
I’m certainly glad I don’t have to put up with this crap a whole lot longer!
