I need a little help with understanding blocking that I am seeing in the photo that was taken earlier today. I believe this would be within the 1/2" gap from the blocking, however, I do not believe it is less than 1.5" of the truss rafter. Please help.

Well, actually, I am a licensed public adjuster for 21 years and if you can tell me if repeated seepage of water hidden within a wall, ceiling or floor is covered under an insurance policy… I might oblige you with your answer. Hint, it’s a trick question. Don’t want to be a smart ass, just need a little direction without all the sarcasm. Our world would be a much better place if that happened more often. Just saying.
