Hi All

Has anybody ever seen a square maybe half inch by half inch on the outside

of vinyl windows on the exterior of a home . the house is 1996 and I don’t

have a picture yet. it shows them on the bottom of the windows and the look like you can put a screwdriver in them and bend the frame or so.I will try and get a picture. Does anyone have a idea what these things are for?

Jane,

Some of these vinyl window types (different manufactirers) have external type weep holes for the bottom of the windows to allow moisture to be released. Not all...some.

I was going to reply with the same, but couldn’t find an appropriate pic to show as I had heard about them, but never have seen one.
