Yes or No twofer ???

As my friend Brian would say, Well?

What? I don’t see anything wrong with the tree nor the pergola.

What an unfortunate choice of pointer locations …lol

Switch outlet, ok. Window…safety glazing???

Perfect for your local stripper to show off in…

I don’t see what the problem is, it is a very nice scenery and the switch won’t get touched until you get out of the shower and made of plastic anyways.:wink:

Great spot for deer hunting huh…

Bonding?

Update.

Oh Micheal…you Envelope Pusher…lol

Isn’t that switch less than 3 feet from the wet area?
What’s the update showing about it?

Tim

Tim,

There is no requirement for the switch to be 3 foot from the wet area.

Is there someplace that states this 3 ft. rule?

The update is a clearer picture and someone wanted to know if it was temped glass over the tub.

No, but their is this requirement…

[size=2][FONT=Times New Roman]or circuit breaker in a damp or wet location shall be enclosed
in a weatherproof enclosure or cabinet that shall
comply with 312.2. A flush-mounted switch or circuit
breaker in a damp or wet location shall be equipped with a
weatherproof cover. Switches shall not be installed within
wet locations in tub or shower spaces unless installed as
part of a listed tub or shower assembly.

Now I dont see a shower in that location so now we can argue if this is a damp location…so put a weaterproof cover on it…lol

You finally did an inspection???:shock: How could you pull yourself away from this message board???:p:p

What gave you that idea?

I so eagerly await your incitement and useful comments it’s difficult to pull myself away for long.

Sorry I took so long. :frowning: I’ve got a life.

Apparently not.

Maybe things will improve for you soon.

They have. I have doubled what I made last year at this time and should be close to six figures for this year. Can’t do it if I’m sitting at a keyboard all day. Thanks for taking up the slack.

True. That applies to light fixtures. My bad.
This is still of a concern, imo:

SECTION E3902
RECEPTACLES
E3902.11 Bathtub and shower space.
A receptacle shall not be installed within or directly over a bathtub or shower stall.

It looks directly over to me - ?
