Hello! I am a new Home Inspector and have been shadowing a local inspector on a few 4-point inspections.
On the form it has “Date of last HVAC servicing/inspection:”, the inspector I am shadowing says to write the date of our inspection because we are inspecting the HVAC system during the 4-point.
I understand where he is coming from, but it feels like if that is what they are asking they would just take the date we complete the report and not have a separate question for it. It seems to me that they are asking about the most recent service/inspection prior to our inspection for the 4-point.
What are the thoughts of other Florida inspectors and how do you fill this portion out?
