If this moves forward, I look for the Middle East to erupt against the US and Isreal.
If you want to unite enemies in the region, this is the way to do it.

I voted for Trump, but i didn’t vote for this. Imagine all the acts of terrorism our workers will face once we go into Gaza to redevelop it. Troops will ultimately be needed…

I don’t think we should be there in any capacity. This should be Israel’s legacy alone, their legacy to the future generations of Jews and Muslims.

Palestine is a geographic denotion of an area occupied over the centuries by various ethnic groups, conquered and abandoned. The region delineated in the Balfour Decision (1917) included all of Jordan.
The “Palestinian” as a culture, nationality, or group is a fabrication created to elicit sympathy from people like yourself who don’t know better. Working isn’t it?

Sure let the USA take over Gaza, call it Palestine USA, then like Puerto Rico all Palestinians can move to the US a with US citizenship or stay in the paradise Gaza Riviera Palestine, USA. Then Egypt and Jordan, don’t have to worry about taking on more immigrants. The US wins by getting new immigrants for labor.
Yet there they are (or were).
The notion that if we (USA, Israel, etc.) strip their flags, destroy their homes, remove their identity (since technically they do not exist), is not a cleansing, then I do not know what is.
But certainly we can acknowledge these truths. Israel has conquered Gaza, removed their existence at the cost of great civilian loss and suffering with the support of the USA.
And the result is Trump’s Middle East Riviera Plan. It is the Israel settlement program on high octane steroids. Will there be a golden Trump Tower right in the center? There certainly will be truckloads of cash for all the NGO’s and investment bankers.

If that were true, then all of the residents of Jordan are palestinians also. Funny how this enshrined group, “Palestinians,” is unwanted by any country in the Middle East. All of the Arab countries realize that “Palestinians” are Hamas. Wolves in sheeps clothing, troublemakers they don’t want. NO Arab country will accept Palestinian refugees! That is fact!
Trump has absolutely no intention to take over Gaza. That is simply a ruse to get people talking. It’s worked hasn’t it? Very effective.

How many Palestinians do you know personally? My guess is “0”.
My wife is Jewish and I’m a former Marine. In both of our circles of friends are several Palestinians. I’d trust them to watch my back before I’d trust Trump or Netanyahu.
You need to read about the history of the British occupation of Palestine from 1918 until 1948 and then the early years of the state of Israel to see the origins of the current conflict. The British deliberately pitted the Palestinians and the Jewish people against each other. That is how they ruled over occupied lands. When the British enacted the Palestine Act in 1948, the land that they offered the Palestinians would not have created a viable country for them. And scholars that have written on the subject say that was deliberate on the part of the UK. They pulled the same kind of crap in the founding of India and Pakistan.
Once Israel was founded, Zionist elements in the government continued the British-fueled animosity, which has continued to this day. Netanyahu’s “reign” has just been the most recent fuel to the fire.
Does Israel have have a right to peace and security? Of course they do. But so does the Palestinians.
And with every atrocity committed by the Netanyahu, more young Palestinians are forced into the arms of Hamas because they see no future for themselves in the current situation. I don’t agree with their choice to target civilians, but I honestly can’t say I blame them. If my home was being occupied by another people, I’d be looking for ways to resist and fight them myself.
There was a genuine chance for peace, with two old men that were tired of fighting each other. But it died on November 4th, 1995, at the hands of a 24 year-old Zionist and then Netanyahu was elected Prime Minister.
