Accept Credit Card Payments On Your Website Or Thru A Touch Tone Phone

Yes…

And…

A few weeks ago, someone on the BB had a great idea…

If you bring your laptop to the field, use it to log in to Paypal directly, or via your website, and they can make their payment right then and there. No more “forgot my checkbook or wallet” problems. Instant payments…gotta love it !!!

When you consider the hassle and expense of a wireless
internet account and taking the laptop with you into the field…
(sometimes there is no reception in some areas also)

A simple phone call to process the card sounds very nice. IMHO

Clients don’t need a paypal account, they can pay with credit card or a paypal account.

There is NO annual, monthly, equipment or start up fees with paypal. 2.9% of the transaction. If there are no transactions, there are no charges.

Hey Wendy,

John’s program will have the same transaction charging plus the annual fees. That’s more expensive than paypal.

Paypal does have a cell phone and or land line phone based payment option. I’ve used it for over a year.

I got kind of excited for a second there. That option is for paying only. The customer would have to activate their own phone for this to work. I’m sure the activation process takes too long to be of use. Of course they would also have to be a paypal member.

This the same thing as Obopay

That’s what I was saying. They do have to create an account to be able to pay. Too much trouble.

It used to be that they had to have an account. Now you can pay with a credit card without having an account at paypal. I don’t think the mobile option works without an account. There are merchant accounts thru paypal that allow you to collect over the phone or on your website but there are extra fees attached.

Like I said this is a good deal nor NACHI members and give
you a lot of options for a nice price.
