ACE just gave InterNACHI $187,500 worth of $25 gift cards for members' clients.

Ben

yes,yes,yes

how do we get them

Its a great idea, especially in the current “coupon” crazy atmosphere for everything now a days…

We have a couple of ACE stores here still. They get beat up by the big box stores so maybe the $25 would get the stores some business.

I could offer the Ace gift card if I lived in Aurora,Illinois or Aurora,Colorado, but not Aurora,Ontario. A Home Depot or Lowe’s card, on the other hand, would be useful. I hope that they could be made available soon, so that Canadian InterNachi inspectors could benefit.

There are 3 - 5 ACE Hardwares within a 25 mile radius of me

True Value and Do It Best are the next…
Followed by those big box
Home Depot and Lowes…

If I need something I go to ACE, I would rather spend a little more and be treated like they appreciate your business.

Not many family owned businesses left, even being a franchise, they seem to be helpful people with more knowledge about what they sell compared to Home Depot or Lowes.

Exactly! I do the same.

Here in Rural America… every small town has a hardware store. That hardware store is either an Ace or an Ace affiliated store. Obviously, all the larger towns have them as well. True Value’s are scarce. Lowes and Home Depot are about 50 miles apart. I haven’t seen an 84 Lumber that was still in business in 30 years. Regional stores like Menards and Mills Fleet Farm are major competitors for Ace.

Remember the old comercials… *“Ace is the place with the helpful hardware man”? *

Steve if there is not an ACE in your area then move.

lol, I live in “Rural Ontario”, not even a Home Depot closer than 90 min drive. Lots of Canadian Tire, Home Harware and Rona though…

So how do we get them?

Unfortunately Steve, I don’t think that there are any Crappy Tires, Home Hardwares, or Ronas in the States, so getting gift cards from those companies is probably not likely to happen.

This is great. What better way to drum up work.

Great News, Nick
While InterNACHI is out there getting things done and helping the inspection industry, the other two organizations (I belong to all) sit around thumping thier chests bragging how impotent, whoops I mean important, they are.

Time and time again I have always said: “The best decision I made in my business is joining NACHI” There is not a single association out there for any business that cares about his members business and future than InterNACHI. Why Nick does that? It is beyond me:roll:. Maybe his passion for the home inspection business. Is he making a killing ($$) so what! He deserves every penny. His staff cannot be better. Second to none! Kudos for Nick and his staff.

THANK YOU NICK!

That’s great Nick. How do we get some of these?
