I don't know, I am having a hard time understanding Kenneths posts. Lack of punctuation, spelling and grammar are keeping him from making an intelligible point.

Say what you want about Chad, at least he comes across as professional and intelligent in his posts (most of the time)

chad,

One moment your talking about outsiders having a say in NACHI, and lamenting the fact that some members dont like the input from those outsiders. Then you talk about NACHI being a business. I dont own stock in General Motors and wouldnt thin of interjecting my thoughts and ideas, thats what they have stockholders for.

Hmm, I didn't think I was lamenting. I did ramble though.

No set up.. at least not me. I don't know what Ken is up to. I can't understand him either.

In fact if you check all of my posts it will show on there. It wasn't directed at you. In fact I heard that line on CNN this morning. Somebody's grandfather gave that to him for advice. ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif) ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif) ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif)

Hey members,

Do we recall inquiring for their uneducated opinions?

Non-Member asked a question.

Fact: This BB, to date, leaves MISC. DISC. open for public comments.

Fact: When this privately-held and organized Association wishes, wants or needs to “be advised” by the general Non Member public, I’m sure it will find a means to do so, including (among other things) solicitation of comments from the public areas of the BB.

Fact: I’d bet most of the Members who frequent the BB have no problem with hearing Non-Member suggestions, so long as they’re pertinent and respectful. Not a great deal to ask on NACHI’s part for providing a public forum for discussion.

Final Fact: When a Non-Member Uses the MISC. DISC. forum, “Advertise on the Site or Don’t Advertise on the Site” thread to expound upon NACHI’s organizational habits, abilities and infrastructure deficiencies, four-out-of-five home inspectors surveyed recommend that such Non-Member be roundly ignored.

Should this web-site be used for advertising

I thought it already was.

While browsing the NACHI BB, I have been getting constant pop-up ads for spyware, etc. Isn't that advertising?

Robert, those popups are not from NACHI, they are a problem with your computer, likely spyware on your machine. Try adaware, it helped me out alot. You’d be surprised.

Jeff,

It's not just spelling, its grammar in its basic sense.

Dan, I know there's been a big problem lately with trojans, ad attacks, viruses, etc. I already use Adaware, Spybot, Zone Alarm, Norton AV, etc on a regular basis. Strangely enough these pop-ups only happen when I'm on this BB. One even says "NACHI has detected spyware on your system. Click to a list of removal tools". Also, most of the list are for pay subscription tools. Beats me! I just know it's annoying as hell!

Look for a program called “CWShredder”

It's an awesome tool for killing trojans.

Got that too! I even use Hijack This along with a great PC Forum that helps me keep those pests at bay. The attacks seem to be getting worse all the time. It’s even worse with cable because your always online. Guess that’s the price you pay for convenience. icon_wink.gif

You say you use ad-aware and spybot.

Do you have the latest version ad-aware SE?

Reason I ask is cuz' when I updated to SE(it's free) It found more than 30 additional problems than with the older engine.
