Boston got momentum on their side. Ortiz looks unstoppable. Maybe this is their year. But I’m not thrown in the towel yet! Yankees still led 3-2.
I herd the other day that the bat that Babe Ruth used to hit his first home run in Yankee statium will be auctioned off soon, Starting bid $1,000.000. And people are worried the bat may be destroyed to break the so-called curse.
Hey Yank's, finish them off tonight. I need some sleep!!!!

Fox screwed up big time last night. I was watching the game and they kept saying that when the Houston/SL game was ready to start they would put the Yanks/Sox game on FX and the other game on Fox. Well, they had the Houston game on both channels. They switched right after the sox tied it. Anyone in this area was unable to watch from the eighth inning on. I was PISSED! Had to listen to it on the radio.

C’mon Sox.
Last nights game with a 14 inning recovery was fantastic.
We need this game tonight. Lets go David O.

I’m a huge Astro’s fan but was a little upset that I couldn’t get the game until the 9th inning. They showed the ALCS game all the way thru. it was that way for 90% of the country unless you lived in MO or TX.
I'm so sick of the Yankees in the playoffs it's nice to see other teams play.

Kevin,
If you have any local sports stations, check them out at game time. You just may get lucky. In my area, we have a station that carries sports talk, Buffalo Sabres games, etc. Though not listed, they showed a Cards/Stros playoff game on this channel while the big market Yanks were on center stage. They must have some affiliation to the big network. Its worth a try.

looking like there will be a Game 7 in NY.
Hope they all wear themselves out with these extra inning games.
Great for all of us Astros fans. Just one more spanking of the red birds needed. Boy, if Houston and Boston make it to the Series then it will be interesting. Houston has never been to the Series in 43 years and I am guessing Boston has not been since what.. since 1918.

It’s been exciting to say the least. I have every confidence that the Yanks will prevail tonight. Whether you are a Yankee fan, Red Sox fan, Astros fan or a Cards fan - you have to agree that the Fox coverage has been horrible.

This series was all a ploy for the Yankees to extract the maximum amount of pain out of Boston, here it is the ninth inning, Sox lead 5 to 2, two walks and a base hit loads em’ up, Bang! Grand Slam! Yankees win 6 to 5, Shiva Baseball at its finest, Hey Boston, there is always next year. The Curse Gets Worse!

I don’t know. I think Boston has a slight advantage going into tonight. They have momentum, Shilling’s performance last night gave the bull pen some rest and it was the bottom of the batting order that did all the damage yesterday. Plus they are the first team EVER to be down 3-0 and force a game 7. That’s gotta say something. As a long time suffering Sox fan I would love to see them win. But, even if they lose, it was one hell of a series.

I don’t know, Boston’s hot now. Yankees went flat. They got to play short ball. Every Yankee goes to the plate and tries to hit it out. STOP THAT. What’s this, the first time the ALCS went to a seventh game? I think Boston will take the ALCS this year, I hate to say. Not going to give up on the YANKEES.
