I vote for a “Carmines”/Cubs World Series.

OK OK, enough with the Yankees & Boston. Just kidding. icon_wink.gif

How bout those Twins. Santana is one tough pitcher. He's having a heck of a season. Our first baseman has 17 homeruns since we traded Doug to Boston. We need a outdoor stadium. Tough watching the game inside. It stinks to say the least. We ran to KC to see outdoor bb this summer, "nice stadium".

Go twins.

Living 30 minutes from Boston I can not listen to the radio for more than a couple of hours without hearing Yankees Suck. ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif)

I wish I could let you all listen to the 'special' Boston version of Frank Sinatra's New York New York.

Hey Rex

At least you still could have baseball when it rains. I noticed, when the Yankees played the twin in a dome stadium the crowd is a lot quieter.
Give me bb outdoors.
Santana was very impressive.

Ya, Ya, Santana’s great. And the Twinkies will be out in the first round as they will play either the Yankme’s or the A’s. Cubs vs. Sox in the world series, and as a life long Cubs fan (could I pick two more heartbreaking teams to roor for?) I will root for the Cubbies and at least still be happy if the Sox win.

I just finished watching Mo blow one. Very annoying. I’ve been a Yankee fan for 52 years (I wasted the first four years of my life). I doubt there will be a game on saturday, heavy rain forecast. Sunday should be good- Pedro against Moose. Go Yanks!

I’d still love to see an All-Cursed World Series, Cubs vs. Red Sox. SOMEBODY would lose the collar.

I watched Rivera blow it tonight, as the Sox "cowboy-ed up" for the win (3-2). Hah! The NY Yankees, the best team money can buy (year after year). Does anyone doubt that Steinbrenner will break his own salary record yet again for the next season? Will MLB ever get a real salary cap to level the field? God Bless the NFL, by far the most equitable professional team sports league on the planet.

I sure hope these two can meet in post-season play again.
