I’ve heard this story. The video mentioned the Princeton student that contacted the structural engineer and referred to the student as “him”, but it was actually a female student, Diane Hartley, who made the discovery.

Bob’s video is accurate. The student LeMessurier spoke with was a male, Lee DeCarolis, but it was Diane Hartley who uncovered the issue. Skip to 28:41 for a full explanation how this happened.
