yes but the stability is an issue. I am using velcro and when i drive it, it wobbles.
I tried that but there are sensors in the drone that doesn’t allow it to operate upside down. Apparently flying upside down is frowned upon.
I work the remote for the RC and when it arrives at a point of interest, then I switch over to the drone controller just to control the camera. I am giving this a shot but if it doesn’t make sense then I might just have to switch over to a dedicated FPV camera mounted onto the RC.
I’m not sure any of this is actually ever to result in even rudimentary performance, or even viewable photos.
Mount a large mirror on the front of the crawler and aim the lens down at the mirror. You’ll see the reflection, which (maybe) shows the floor structure. ![]()
Or buy an actual rig that is properly configured, like Scot’s.
Challenge accepted! When I am done with it, its going to look like this.
I think you might be onto something. A rig that can operate as a “saddle” for your drone. Your drone has some duality. Good stuff.
Scot,
It is people like you that move the industry forward.
I look forward to using your crawler and offering you feed back.
Don’t try to persuade the haters it is a waste of time and energy.

Hey Scot, I may be interested in purchasing, how much do you sell them for?
I don’t have the time or desire to figure it out myself… Internachi was promoting one in the latest newsletter, but the videos they have look like poor quality.
