In addition to Ray’s comments above, my question is, why anyone should have to pay to attend a convention in order to find out everything they ever wanted to know about the National Certification? The information should have been available to all HI’s across the contry from the moment it was released. That was a basic requirement to the best of my understanding.

I suppose it is not beyond reason for Nick to invite Bill Mullen to the supposed meeting with Ontario government officials either. BTW Nick are you going to tell us who you are meeting with or are you going to fake your way through that one too?
You complain because you can’t get information out of Bill, then when he agrees to stand in front of you in person for 2 hours at our convention answering your questions, you complain about that. How can the poor fella win with you all?

You asking Bill to be a keynote speaker is akin to putting the Fox in the Chicken coop. Another executive decision no doubt without any manner of consultation by you of the members.

This has been going on for many years please do not make us out to be the bad guys . Bill has called me and others some very nasty words , this I can take but when I and others are called a fXXXing Liar.
This just sort of makes me a bit upset as I always strive to never lie .
It would be so nice if Bill Mullen was that way.
Now you say he is going to give us information well wiptydoo it is about time he has been bragging about this for over two years about how he was going to put that FXXXING Nick and those NACHOES out of Canada.
We have pleaded asked nicely and we still do not know who the self appointed group is .
They tell us the government wants them only and is giving them so much money well I find out it is not near the amount Bill is trying to tell.
This is shamefull for the Canadian Home inspectors to be treated this way .
He spoke at Kingston 2 years ago and has given no information to the non CAPHI home inspectors since that I know of .
Remember NICK we are your friend and have supported you from the get go .

Bill Mullen has tried to destroy Me and NACHI non stop .
I do hope this can lead to a communication between all home inspectors in Canada .

Nick, with all due respect, it does seem unfair to offer the chance to hear information from Mr. Mullen, at a fee, when that information should have been made available to all Canadian H.I.'s free of charge some years ago.
It seems that you are inserting yourself into a situation that you do not fully understand and that is very dangerous for the future of N.A.C.H.I. in Canada.

Unfortunately, while that proverb had some credence in days gone by, as we are now finding out in Afghanistan and Iraq, keeping an enemy who is determined to destroy you, close, is proving to be very dangerous.

This National Certification is going to happen. Have any of you thought for a minute that Nick might just be trying to help us.Making sure that we as NACHI members get a fair chance at this. I say we give Nick a break.He knows what he’s doing.
The only thing I’m pissed about is I paid full price for the convention $399 and $50 for my wife.

IMHO this National Certification has about a 85% chance of happening with NACHI support, a 30% chance of happening without NACHI support and about a 2% chance of happening with NACHI resistance.

Having Bill Mullen at our convention will afford us the opportunity to ask questions.Think about it Roy asking him questions in front of potentionally hundreds of people. It’s like having him on a witness stand and you are the crown attorney.

NACHI’s Convention in Toronto is already the largest inspection event in history. There is so much to do. If you don’t want to listen to Bill, then don’t.
No information given to the non CAHPI members . Told that first come first served for the Pier review .
I put in My name and money for myself and Raymond . I know we were first as I live in Brighton where the Secretary for CAHPI lived .
Applications for the certification was posted at 11;00 am and I was in the Post office shortly after lunch with our applications and money .
CAHPI had not picked up their mail and My envelope was first for sure .
I was not excepted .
Calgary was the CAHPI conference and we were told the big announcement would come down .
No information has been released to the Non CAHPI members .
We have no idea of what % was CAHPI and % non CAHPI. No idea of the amount or break down . The story was you can trust us .
Trust has never worked with them before why should we think it would now .
This is exactly how things have gone for a few years . Co-operation has been a one way street .
Twice Bill M asked to have things put on the NACHI site and I did it both times.
Claude L I understand is a NACHI member and on our education committee he is also on the CAHPI certification committee .
Sort of convent he gets to know all about NACHI and gives us little in return.

Nick, you are certainly free to call whomever you wish “friend”. That choice is yours to make but be sure you can live with the consequences of being in this association ( please carefully re-read my remark about being known by one’s lieutenants). I guess my standards of “friendship” are a little higher than those to which you seem to subscribe.

CAHPI is a private group, not a govenment entity. They have no duty to inform you of anything. No duty to be fair to you. And Bill certainly has no duty to speak at our convention.
If you had a small local chapter that was planning on doing group marketing, would you feel obligated to inform all the local non-members of your plans?
You are holding CAHPI, a private trade association with several hundred members, up next to government agencies and 10,000 member NACHI and complaining that they aren’t either… of course they aren’t.

Been there listened to his presentation before .
I have know Bill for Many more years the most NACHI members .
Bill was one who helped me big time when I first started .
I never said I would not be there.
I still feel Bill and his secret Group are only in it for their own gain . Would loved to be proven wrong.
