I can’t seem to find info anywhere on the date code of boilers. Does anyone know what system Triangle Tube uses to encode the date in the serial number?
Ser # PS 17638
Thanks
What is a boiler? Never seen one in 6 years. Anything like a cabbage?
Not much like a cabbage.
It is a fairly new one but I don’t know how new. (Used for heat as well as for hot water.)
Sorry Bert, but I can’t help.
I guess no luck here?

Maybe ask the question here if you haven’t got an answer.

Give them a call at 856-228-8881
TriangleTube has several types of boilers, on the challenger combination boiler it is most likely the last two numbers of serial number.
The Challenger system is a “Two in One” heat exchanger that provides both space heating and domestic hot water. The Challenger Combination Boiler is designed as a higher efficient unit for homes with inputs of 85, 105, and 125 MBH. The Challenger Hydronic heating system has an AFUE of 94%.

I’d recommend calling. I had a PS unit and the manufacture date had no apparent relation to the serial number.
Just called them on a house I inspected. The customer service was friendly.
Thanks for the telephone number
