Has anyone figured out or have a resource for determining the age of a Broan HRV? The SN on the ones in my area do not match the format from BIC.
do HRV’s have ansi numbers? Might provide some guidance

Hmmm, I’m not sure. Will have to look on the next one. 
Looks like possibly July 2002. Was it original to the home?

House was reportedly built in 2000, but the AC was 2002. All other major appliances were newer. 2002 would possibly fit. Are you going by the “02” after the first 7 in the SN?
