Chosen? You mean the first 100 entries right?

Just asking.

Thanks Claude.

Wishful Thinking!

Claudes choice of word, not mine. Fruedian slip perhaps?

This is a quote that basically indicates what is states - a fact. “The cheques will only be cashed if you are chosen for the Pilot Project.” I am not in any position to make anything more out of that statement than what is states. If there are 400 applicants and the first 100 are chosen obviously the next 300 will not be chosen.

I am not trying to say or imply anything more than that, because I am not involved in that decision. “You” are entitled to make “your” opinions - but its just that a “judgement”. An opinion is not a fact - its your idea.

I have deleted a portion of this - but in all fairness some need read the unfair comments posted earlier hat reflect similar disdain towards CAHPI, OAHI and trying to offer the other side of the issue. Question was saked - I tried to be forthright with a response. No further comments will be given if some have nothing better to do than sit here in argue and debate every post I add this discussion to the "n"th degree.

Claude, I know you may be a little offended, but don’t you think your acting a mild bit “childish”?

I’ve sat quiet on this national certification thing up until now but recent events have forced me to warn my members not to put any of your hard earned money into it as you will be throwing it away. Had no one asked NACHI members for money I would have sat quiet and let it play out with no harm being done, but I now have a duty to tell members to hold on to your money. I wouldn’t want my members to complain to me later that I sat quiet while they wrote checks for nothing…so I had to say something. I won’t say much more on the subject.

Claude,

Thats fine, I just thought you meant that of the applicants who applied, the 100 would be “chosen” or “sifted” through rather than first come first served, based on who was doing the sifting, or choosing.

Cheers,

Hi Nick

Thanks for your feedback. Sure is strange how some folks have gone up oneside and down the other about you and NACHI, but when they need their little project to get of the ground and make it look successful it sure is strange how fast they do about face and then have the audacity to ask for money, participation, willingness, etc.

The whole concept seems to have easily been sold on OAHI members, I guess a few explanations, and some oil on the water sure calms the questions. I guess CAHPI had to do back flips and lots of explaining in a matter of hours to turn the course of events at the AGM and have the motion rejected.

I am still waiting for an explanation from Mr. Mullen and other cohorts who seem to have taken liberties with defiling individuals as derailers. I notice he wasn’t so quick to defile those who started asking questions at the 11th hour. I guess it was a personality thing and a bias thing with Mr. Mullen and troop.

Personally I still don’t see any relevance or all the hype about Certification.

Thanks Nick.

Tyrone commented that CAHPI/Oahi is going the way of the Panada.
Fwiw. Oahi seems to have lost approximately 85 members between mid February and last week. From a high of 789 members down to 704 members. I guess many students did not renew.

Boy I guess you guys think you sure showed me! So much for trying to offer facts. Opinions are just that - personal “judgements”. So I will just shut up.
C’est la vie!

Thanks Ray. Reading:bandit:…more reading …thinking.gif…:?: … :-k … still reading …:wha?: … contract2.gif… done. z7shysterical.gif

You’ve got be kidding right! The basic concept is fine but there are so many detail problems with that model that it isn’t even funny.

Yep!

Claude, “you” are too sensitive.

Paul

Never have so many been so confused. It is still a corporate, non profit, self regulating identity set up to administer some pie in the sky. It is still only a model, nothing has been ratified. Even the recent AGM was not a ratification of Certification or anything else just more talk and more promises.

I have spoken to 3 OAHI members in my area that did not renew this year. That says alot.

I’m sorry Claude, but you took it to a different level. By sarcastically trying to be a smarta$$.

Nick -
Qule!

Unless I am reading the OAHI letter wromg ,it looks to me that the chosen 100 will be the first 100 to get their name and cheque in .

Roy - who posted the message that you posted? I do not follow the OAHI forum. I am trying to look into the issue.

Sorry Claude some letters must remain confident.

I do have many friends and If I was to let this information out it could stop. This is just one of many things that OAHI does .

Sorry I do not have the ability to go to the OAHI forum or Bill Mullens Scandalous Propaganda Forum that tells lies and gives slanted information.
You I do believe do go to the Canuk forum and should know the unfair and deceptive practices that go on The CANUK forum.
I feel that Bill Mullen who is in the top position of CAHPI should not be doing what he does on his Canuk forum .
In all fairness he should shut it down immediately or open it up for all Canadian inspectors to see how he puts out half truths innuendo’s and misinformation.
His bogus sneak attacks and intimidation need to end.
