I use nextel and it helps when my partner and I are doing a lg home we can use the 2 way to check on whatever we need and we use the nembers in the yellow pages also with no prob.

I disagree.
The reason (forget all that privacy stuff) they are no on like land lines is that land lines do not pay for incoming calls.
What cell phone numbers become available to all calling centers, they will need to go to all free incoming calls. Which they could do, then it would not "cost" you anything, just nuisance like on a land line.

My son stopped in and noticed that I was on the message board “cell phone, land lines”. He has been in the business for quite some time and represents over 25 carriers providing local services in 75% of the country and long distance nationwide including the cellular business.

Hey Jerry you need to check with your carrier I think that they almost all have a plan with free incoming I know that nextel does and if yours don’t you can always switch carriers and just take your number with you
