Got a wind mitigation coming up and the roof is a clipped gable. Haven’t had this roof style yet…first for everything. Anyway… Do I classify the middle portion as (other roof shape.) That is what I am thinking as hince clipped gable. Just wanted to ask others. I didn’t include measurements as I will do that on my own during the inspection.
Easy, just count the raked portions as non-hip, and the horizontal roof line as hip. The rest looks like hip. Include a roof sketch to show your determination and calcs.
