CMI requirements compared to other inspection association's in DORA Industry Review.

Jeff, I’ll prove to you that all 1,000 CMIs are right and that you are wrong.

And I’ll prove it with my own money. I’ll pay for your CMI (assuming you qualify). After a year, you tell me if you want to keep it or not. If you want to keep it, pay me back.

I happen to know that you will be no different than the other 1,000 or so CMIs in the industry and will want to keep it, so I know you’re going to want to give me my money back. That’s how sure I am that CMI makes more money than any investment you could possibly come up with in your entire life.

OK?

That was tried before and failed.

Some clients want to know why an inspector is superior so they get a better inspection.
Some clients want the cheapest inspector and they assume they are all the same unless
you educate them. Even then there is still those who only care about the price.

CMI appeals to those seeking an inspector and want quality more than just hearing the price that you charge. How do they know the difference of who is better or not? CMI answers that question very well.

Wrong. Every inspector who doubted that CMI would make them money ultimately changed their mind after using it for a year. All of them repaid me in full. Every one. Michael, find me one who wants his/her money back… Find just one out of our 1,000 CMIs. What product in human history has had zero returns for refunds?

Yes, we have some CMIs who complain that CMI has very few benefits: Certified Master Inspector® Resources But when I try to refund their money, they refuse to take it. They know what I know and what every other CMI knows. CMI makes them money.

Jeff will be no different than the roughly 1,000 CMIs out there. CMI not only makes CMIs money… it makes EVERY CMI money.

Nope. I know who it was and so do you.

Why did he refuse to accept a full refund? I know why and so do you. Once an inspector realizes what CMI is doing for them financially… they simply refuse to return the goose that is laying their golden eggs. The lone CMI who says he doesn’t like CMI, won’t part with it. What’s that say?

Jeff will discover what 1,000 CMIs already know. CMI is the best investment they’ve ever made. And in Jeff’s case, I’m willing to put up my own money for him.

So now you admit it?

Why part with something you paid for or were given?

MICB doesn’t give out CMIs. And I’m not giving out one to Jeff. I’m, in essence, loaning him the money to become a CMI. At the end of the year, if he is absolutely convinced it is the best investment ever, he can pay me back using some of the money CMI made him.

Jeff won’t even need the full year. He’ll quickly discover what all of the other 1,000 CMIs know. CMI makes inspectors money… lots of money. I’m 100% certain that before the year is up, CMI will make him back the entire fee and then some. After that, it’s pure black ink because CMI has no annual dues. What investment out there is so good that the broker is willing to put up his own money to prove to you that you are going to pay off the entire principle and earn a return in less than a year? Only one investment is that good: CMI.

How does being a CMI make you more money when the majority of the people looking for an inspector don’t know nothing about any of the orgs.
Here in Florida being a state licensed HI is what the ask about and not very often at that…

And the beat goes on. da dee da dee da da

If you answer your phone and only quote a price then you will not make many sales anyway (no insult intended).

You must educate your client by telling them about your inspection service and the care that provide for their needs. As you communicate and get to know your client, then you can tell them you are a CMI which is different than just having a license.

That is how they find out about CMI. If you don’t educate them, then they will never know what you have to offer. The number one product you are selling is your self. It is not about selling them on the idea that they need a home inspection. They already know that.

Excellent question and your premise is very true. Consumers know nothing of inspection trade associations. But EVERY consumer knows instantly the meaning of these three little words: CERTIFIED MASTER INSPECTOR. They all instantly believe it is the very best of the best (and it is). The name of the professional designation itself is self-evident, so self-evident that even your old Aunt Penny who knows nothing of the inspection industry will choose it every time.

Don’t take my word for it. Lay out all your insurance information, licenses, association memberships, marketing material, taglines, logos, and one CMI decal on your dining room table. Then ask old Aunt Penny to look through it and pick out what would make her choose you. I already know the results of your dining room table experiment. It’s been done many times before with the same result.

What make them know the difference between a Certified Master Inspector and a Certified Professional Inspector. Both ring about the same to me even the logo’s.

I know why Certified Master Inspector causes consumers to choose Certified Master Inspectors over other inspectors. I understand why it allows inspectors to command higher fees. But I don’t want you to take my word for it.

Ask the 1,000 CMIs and your old Aunt Penny.

I have.

I personally don’t need anymore work.

The CMIs in my area are a long way from being the top price tier. lol

And they love multiple gimmicks.

Worked for Roy’s home Inspection when we owned the business .
New owner of Roy’s , Skip Eden the owner says CMI is still working for him. He charges higher then most others.

In what way ? I need proof with dollars amounts of before and after of an existing HI business.

Gee I do not remember you or any one else posting how much they make in year .

I never posted how much we did in a year .
