Nick, when the ball park fence is set at 3 feet, its not that hard…
Well, it’s easy for someone to come to the stands year after year and tell everyone that they can hit the ball out of the park too.
The paradox with CMI is that the inspectors who need it, don’t qualify… and the inspectors who qualify, don’t need it. You might want to get your head around that before stepping up to the plate.
Many who are not a CMI seem to have much to say about the CMI . Those are a CMI are very satisfied from what I see .
I wonder could it be jealousy HMMMMMMMMM !
Just because you were duped years ago, has no bearing on others opinions. Best $50 you ever spent, right?! :p:p
Psssssttt…I am a CMI and have been for a while now…HMMMMMM back at ya.
I am not surprised . I too am a CMI Now.
I wish more Members where like you and gave help to all.
Roy I read your signature a while back and thought. Damn nebies just have to call for help. That is very giving of you and to be commended.
I love to help, but sometimes You can give people a million dollars and the only beatch about the taxes they will have to pay.
I just think professionals in an arena where professionalism is adhered to will create awsome results. Only time will tell.
I can tell you already Dale Duffy gave an idea this morning that you can make $100,000 a year working two days a week if you implament it, in the right geogrphical area.
There are so many avenues to make money in the field of Home and Building Inspection. If you stick with just one in an area like I am in you will starve.
Thanks Russell I also regular get a few experienced Homies who feel they need help or just confirmation .
. I get about 3 or more a week . This is today’s help wanted from an engineer .

I poke at it but have no major problem with CMI.
The biggest concern I have would be if it became some actual standard that the public looks at and simply is another bill forcing money from my pocket to keep doing business.
Lets face facts…you are paying for a logo and I could spend another $500 for BBB logo and another $3,000 for Yelp, etc…you get the idea.
If it puts money in the coffers as it is right now then great.
I feel Both BBB and CMI and our web site worked well for our Business.
This NACHI Forum was a fantastic help also Much good information is traded .
Hmmm… how should I word this?
Appearantly, my “speaking the truth” is starting to grate on the nerves of a CMI or two.
I recently received in my email, through the InterNACHI “Call me Now” button, a harrassing email.
Note that IP addresses are VERY easy to trace, and the information is being saved for transmission to the **Barrie, Ontario, Canada **authorities.
Have a nice day, loser!!!
Gee Glad to see many others see what Kind of a person you are .
Love to see your useless threats and silly posts too.
Some of these “drawn” and “computer-generated” pictures and logos just do not look professional, IMO. More real pictures, more real videos, more realism. I joined NACHI in 2008, and became a CMI shortly after. Business has been flat since, but the economy has helped with that. CMI web site and designation needs to be the highest in professional-grade that can be done. Look at ford, ge and gm sites.
That is what impresses.
I think that is a personal decession but seems to work great for you.
