Very excited right now, just had a graphic designer finish up with my logo design and its ready to be unvailed!
While I appreciate the services of internachi there were some limitations which had me go a alternate route with this portion of the marketing material.
Company name is EastPoint Home Inspections. You can veiw the logo presentations at www.eastpointhomeinspections.com. I am currently torn between the red and blue versions. What do you guys think?
Blue is the most universally favored color of all and therefore the safest to use. It relates to trust, honesty and dependability, therefore helping to build customer loyalty.
That is very true. Many people avoid red unless they are doing a rebellious type marketing campaign. I.e red bull, certain energy drinks, car dealers, etc.
It’s a good logo. I like the dot in the logo as it is connected to the word “Point” in your company name. I would do this. I would make the logo and text all blue except for the “o” in the word “EastPoint” which I would make red. The word “EastPoint” is difficult in that it isn’t a noun that conjures up an image… so I’d really emphasize the “Point” part of the name.
I am in the process of getting my business up and going as well. So my 2 cents doesn’t carry the weight as others here, but I like the red. I know several in the industry that are extremely successful (here in Ohio) who’s color scheme is black and red. However I would certainly value the opinion of the vetran inspectors here.
I agree with what was said about the blue but I feel everyone is choosing blue for their color. I think it wouldn’t stand out as much as the red. I think the red grabs your attention better and almost “makes” you look at it.
With that being said, how you given any thought about using earthy colors/home colors of greens or browns?
Just my opinions
Had a multitude of color combinations to choose from and the only ones that looked “proffesional” were the red and blue. The rest of the colors looked gimmicky and cartoonish.
I think I’m gonna go with the blue, seems like it would be easier to integrate into other applications. I have both anyways so if I find a application that the red suits better I can always use it.
I like them both. Leaning closer to the red though. My only feedback is maybe tone down the color a bit to bring out the background picture a bit more.
Yours is better than most of these and as good as the better variations of the theme (your text is much more professional and legible than most of the logos here). The unique thing that you really have going for the logo is the emphasis on the “Point” part of your name. It is a tiny detail, but it ties the image into the text. The image should reinforce the name or be so unique that it is unmistakable for anyone else’s logo. Look at your competitor’s logos and make yours noticeably different. I would shift the color in the window of the house back to the lighter color so that the “point” part of the logo is more of the focus of the logo than the tiny window.
The red is okay and stands out, but there is too much of it. It overwhelms the eye. So blue.
BUT … the load time is way too slow. Not sure how you are generating it, but as a pic it is too slow.
