Did free health care start on election night or do we have to wait till inauguration?

Let’s do it.

Tell your employees that you will be reducing their wages by $X to pay for the mandated health care.

Sound fair?

Or lay off one or two guys to pay for the health care of the remaining employees. Stand by, that is what has happened every time the FED mandates anything to businesses. Half of the bail out for Ford and GM is about retirements and health care for its union employees. The redistribution has already begun. Figure on some small companies that were going to hire new employees changing their minds to get ready for the new administration and the coming changes. This is not anything new. Its been done before and always with the same results. Those of us who lived through the 70s can remember it well. It is like throwing kerosine on a fire.

What do you propose as a fair solution. There are plenty of hard working people who cannot afford healthcare. There is a BIG problem with healthcare in this country. I hear a lot of complaining (by people that can afford healthcare), but no solutions!

Ralph, I am up to my ears in Doctor Bills, please send me some money this week, so I can pay them off. I am serious!

Not a viable solution!

I do not see any significant difference in that from what is going to be proposed other than the Fed Gov’t will act a the middle man and keep and waste a good portion of the money collected. Besides, where in the Constitution does it say everything has to be fair? Most people are in the position they find themselves in due to personal decisions they made at critical periods of their lives.

Why not?

Get the government out of the health care business including all the mandates they impose on insurers by the Fed and the states.

Can we just admit that some of us want someone else to pay for our health care?

Let the insurance carriers provide the structure for shared costs not the government mandate.

Maybe we should have government run auto insurance or business insurance or house insurance etc. Get it?

In a free country people ahould be alowed to make their own decisions as to what healtcare and what type of insurance they want to have.

Please explain your viable solution that maintains freedom.

Not everybody owns a car, a business and/or a house. Those things are luxuries that some people cannot afford. I guess if you can’t afford healthcare, life & health should be considered a luxury!

Not everyone needs the same level of health care or wants health care insurance.

Let those who want insurance buy it and get the government out of the way.

I’m tired of the health care is a “right” crowd.

Some have good motives others just want someone else to pay.

They would all require some degree of socialization, which you would outright dismiss. I have not spent a lot of time researching healthcare reform, but I know we need something.

I do have a straight flush sympathy hand, but don’t really care to play it.

Please do some research and perhaps you will change your mind when you have acquired a better understanding.

BTW-I am not arguing for no changing but rather informed and smart ones.

Ralph, you never answered my question. Why not?

It’s not all about about YOU Kenneth. It’s not about me or Micheal - it’s about EVERYBODY.

The way you treat the least among you, is the way you treat Jesus!

I agree but that is not the government’s responsibility no manner how many times you say it.
