Is there any code about the placement of drain output for a sump pump system?
A local disaster clean up company I work with was told that they were violating an international code. They nor I have heard of any.
Look at this link. http://codes.iccsafe.org/app/book/content/2015%20San%20Antonio/2015%20IPC%20HTML/Chapter%207.html , particularly section 712. it appears to be based upon the 2015 plumbing code. it addresses “Sumps” and drainage. If unsure I would go directly to the AHJ for the property.
Is this a temporary setup while the company is working a jobsite, or permenant installed system the company is installing?
