Still just a subsurface for a water proof layer in a shower application.

I would write it up as a concern for the area may be prone to moisture damage. I doubt I would spend much more time on it than that.

It’s a maintenance issue at best. Nothing a couple of coats of semi-gloss or gloss won’t take care of.
