Division of the units for Inspection is dependant upon how the properties are deeded and the specific needs of the Purchaser for the transaction.
Obtain as much information as possible with regard to the Property and the specific needs of the Investor and generate the HI and/or Commercial Property Report accordingly.

if i’m inspecting only the side my client is buying, then i ask the neighbour permission to look in the basement and attic briefly for any signs that could effect the other side. and I tell them that it’s kind of like having a free roof and foundation inspection, and for about 10% off they can get the full inspection right now. and I tell my client that if they do, then I give him the 10% as a referral. the way I see it, I get 2 inspections and only one travel and we all win. they usually go for it, but if they don’t then at least they know my co. name and my face if they ever need my services. good people skills are a must in this biz. and for the 10%, I just write it off in my head as money spent to get my name to the other people and threw out the neighborhood.
