I find them on the roof or in the attic all the time. First time I found two 6+ foot rat snakes in the attic, scared the $hit out of me. Now it is just another day at the office.

Isn’t it great to have a job that you love?

Man…I’d hate doing inspections in the desert or west texas…my nerves would be a bit rattled (pun intended). icon_wink.gif

A lot of homes here have rubber snakes on the roof or a plastic owl on the chimney. It is supposed to scare away the birds. It seems to work for about a week till the feathered folk figure it out.

You have not had any fun until you do a 50 + year old desert home with a crawl space. Snakes,Scorpions,Spiders etc. All poisonous of course ![icon_eek.gif](upload://yuxgmvDDEGIQPAyP9sRnK0D0CCY.gif) God I love AZ.

I have a plastic owl outside my bedroom window. My windows are mirrored and a little bird likes to come by and peck on the window, thinking it is defending it’s territory. The owl has kept it away for months. I just have to remember to move the owl every week or so.
