Gerry

I know what you mean but according to ESA this is all that we need. Ontario is getting really uptight about it’s electrical. Supposedly as of Jan 1/07 anyone working with electrical even low voltage has to be liscenced.
So no more handymen doing electrical.

Gerry

Whats covered.

Gerry

I’m in!

Figured you would be so I already booked you.

Gotcha…hey I am under the belief ANY electrical training is GOOD electrical training…atleast it is something…and they are jumping on the low voltage issue because in the right situation low voltage KILLS also…probably a good move in the end…

Sign me up to Gerry!

Done.

Gotta bump this.

Just being selfish.

Gerry
There is no way you can stop anybody from doing there own electrical. If I decide to add a circuit to my panel it is not going to come to the attention of the ESA. If I can do the work to code standards and then have a home inspector come in when selling the home, most likely he will not even know that it was not done by a Licensed Electrician.
Larry

Yes that is true and people still do their own Gas to water heaters and try and put sprinklers in the side the home . but they are all breaking the law. and they laws do get changed .Thats why they want all work with permits
