Ran into this rather unique wood-burning log furnace yesterday (my first) at an inspection for a 1955 home. I am trying to find more about it, but not finding anything online. I am thinking it was original to the home, but would like some confirmation. Owner says it still works great.

Note: Check out the County Fairs as they typically sell similar wood burners. Lots of info usually available.

Tell that to the insurance company without the log furnace being certified operable and safe.
Run into various types of indoor and outdoor log furnaces.
Any way; Early Earth Stoves are easily recognized by their signature orange and yellow ceramic medallions on the front of the stove.
The Earth Stove Company was later acquired by Lennox , who discontinued the line in 2000.
