Exposed wires on the outside of a furnace

I’m doing my mock inspections and looking at another thread, it sounds like it’s OK that these wires are nut only. This is the wall of the furnace.

Those are your thermostat control wires, low voltage, no problem.

See this all the time. You might want to change your thermostat one day.
Typical wiring -

Son gave me an Ecobee thermostat one year. I can now change my thermostat setting from my phone. Whoopie!
