First time seeing this type of breaker on a square d panel

Interesting breaker type. Obviously panel is old . Late 60’s
Confusing trying to follow wiring when there are multiple of these as well as mini splits.

Yeah, I see those pretty infrequently and usually right that era - 60s. I agree it makes the wires a bit hard to follow sometimes.

They are the old style of tandem breaker. The current style has two small stacked levers.

I was a bit surprised at first, saying:" what in the world". Cant wait to open the panel to see what’s going on. Actually looks like a good idea except for crowding of wires.
