FL NOA Research Help Needed Please

Hi All,

I’m trying to locate the NOA for this sliding door. I have no documents to receive the insurance discount on HO6 condo insurance. I have attached the picture of the engraving in the inner glass. Please help. Thank you in advance.

What’s an NOA?

(Guess you should have posted in the FLORIDA dedicated section, Eh?!)

Thank you for your response. Hi do I do that please?

How did you choose this thread section to post in?
Same way, only find the FLORIDA section to post in…

OH… my bad, you can’t… you’re NOT a Member!

NOA is a Notice of Acceptance. The etching on the window “M.D.C.A.” indicates the glazing is Miami Dade County Approved. (impact rated) There should also be a label on the window/slider frame that indicates the frame is rated. The frame label is typically where you’ll find an NOA #. You can look up NOA’s at this website:

FYI… There is a FABI class at the PGT plant in Venice this weekend May 3rd.

Well it looks like the class is sold out, but you may want to contact FABI to check if there were any cancellations if you are interested.
