Hello fellow inspectors, I have been asked about a Canadian product called flexstone which has been used for many years on the west coast as a substitute for BUR. Have any inspectors come across this product and what are your thoughts?
In a previous life, I applied roof coatings but I do not know this product. I learned with most coatings three things mattered 1. Surface prep. 2. Any moisture under the coating caused problems. 3. Weather conditions. I hope this is helpful. Take care.
