No focus ring, John. E40BX is the easily the best bang for the buck BD camera there is right now. .045 sensitivity for less than $4k. Not to mention all the other loaded features it has.
One of your students called last week from FL that is doing BD and wants to do/learn flat roofs and you recommended an I7 to him. This is why in a round about way, we made a good team. That dude would not of been too happy with you with his $2,000 paper weight after he takes his roof course. He did have good things to say about you and your course. Not to mention the delta in FL is very crappy for most of the year. 100mk is not ideal for there or related climates like San Diego or Hawaii, etc.
Unfortunately, it’s usually a default thought process we have when we see a poster with 1 or 2 posts having a link to a product. Don’t take any offense. If you are here to learn and offer advice…Welcome!
I am sorry, i didn’t notice. Indeed i spoke about optical or video endoscopes, not thermal. i am a specialist in endoscopy, i read this topic and thought i might be useful or maybe i could give some good advice.
That is a lie. I have been told by several people that you lie very often.
In every class I repeat over and over to not attempt to do commercial flat roofs with an entry level camera. I have repeated that same point on this forum many times. Mike Larson just took my class and can tell you that is what I teach.
No matter how much trolling you guys do, FLIR is still running the promotion. If you have issues with it, you can go over to the ITC boards and troll away.
